PA-28-140 another photo of the corroded spar we found when doing the inspection for AD 20-24-05.

For those of you that have an aircraft affected by the AD 20-24-05 this is an extreme example of why it is so important to know this ad has been complied with properly. This particular aircraft had been practicing manuvers and stalls the week before this inspection was done.  Obviously no one would want to fly this aircraft after seeing these photos of the spar.
